We have designed each Cozy Camper with one question in mind: “Is this the camper we would want to live in ourselves for days or weeks at a time?”

The reason why we work so hard to make our campers perfect, always comes down to the weather in Iceland. What some people don’t realize is that even during summer, they might find themselves spending a good deal of time in the camper if the weather isn’t that great.

You know, there’s a saying in Iceland: “If you don’t like the weather, just wait 5 minutes.” Unfortunately, sometimes you must wait a while longer than 5 minutes for the weather to improve.

Therefore, an Icelandic camper must be a great place to hang out in. We make sure to provide you with maximum levels of comfort while you travel. so if you’re stuck inside your camper on a rainy day, at least you can chill in a warm place and cook a nice meal while looking out the window. How it all began

Our journey began in 2014 when our founder Birkir Már Benediktsson (AKA, “Mr. B”) noticed the growing popularity of campervans in Iceland, but a distinct lack of quality vehicles on offer, that fit his view of what he’d want to personally live in while on a trip around Iceland.

Mr B’s background as a carpenter and automotive mechanic soon took centre stage, and he quickly began by purchasing and modifying the first vans that would launch the Cozy Campers brand. His passion was directed into creating the most comfortable and modern campervans Iceland had ever seen, an ethos we still follow when producing each and every campervan.
